Vox is too aggressive

Any app that uses my notification center as a platform for advertising gets one star and a delete. Two minutes after I installed Vox it sent a notification urging me to download its mobile app.

I don’t like how Vox tries to take over my media collection. Its two file type options are ‘default all iTunes supported files to Vox’ or ‘default all iTunes nonsupported media files to Vox’. As I use other media players to work with different file types, neither of those options are acceptable, and I’m not willing to hunt through all my file formats to undo the shenanigans Vox wants to do.
