VOX Player - falls short

i love the look of VOX. unfortunately looks dont get the job done. its the only decent drag an drop player i know of for mac. i used to love iTunes, but having tracks added to the library when adding to iTunes is just bloat and clutter. macs need a player like windows have in media player. dont get me wrong, i prefer OS X to windows hands down. but as far as a simple thing like an mp3 player goes…apple has missed the mark. which is why i use VOX.

again…VOX looks great, but its just a pain to use. when there are updates, you get no notification. it just doesnt load. OR it just doesnt load period. you have to uninstall and reinstall. it also tends to skip the following track in a playlist. play one, skip one, play one, skip one…..etc.
or it will play 10sec of a track and skip. or just stop. there are days it acts up so badly…ill just go to youtube or play music from my phone while i werk. :(

nit picky note: the volume button is a pain to access. you need to click on the VOX app twice to get at it. WHY HIDE THE VOLUME BAR?! super bad UI choice.

unfortunately i will have to stick with VOX till something better comes along. id give it a 1 star, but its pretty looking :)
